Pipeline proposal
..Tar sands oil production water, sand, and clay mixed together. The oil is so thick that they would have to make two pipelines so they can dilute the bitumen to make it flow faster.

..Enbridge is behind the proposed pipeline. The bad thing is though that Enbridge has been known for a numerous amount of gigantic oil spills and not cleaning it up. Instead they tried to cover it up by using sand and planting grass over it.

.. The pipeline is proposed to go from Bruderheim, Alberta to Kitimat, B.C.. It is a big risk because the pipeline is supposed to travel right through the home of endangered animals like the spirit bear which can only be found in Canada B.C.

.. The project is expected to cost about 5.5 billlion dollars.  There will be two pipelines running from Alberta to Kitimat. They will be about 1777km long. One pipe will deliver about 525,000 barrels of bitumen a day from the tar sands to B.C. The other pipe will be running in the opposite direction and it will carry about 193,000 barrels of a toxic natural gas mixture per day to dilute the bitumen so it will flow faster.

.. The oil ends up in Kitimat BC.

..Oil tankers will dock at a new terminal in Kitimat B.C. and the oil will be shipped to Asia.

.. The oil will be going through the pacific and into far east nations like China which ail pay a lot of money for the oil.
